Northmill is now looking for a Chief Credit Officer that wants to revolutionize the financial world together with us! The scope of your role

As our Chief Credit Officer, your assignment is clear: to further develop our credit process. Today we have 400,000 customers, 100 fantastic employees with offices in Sweden, Finland and Poland with continued expansion ahead.

You will be a key person here at Northmill, and have great insight into our business and products. You will meet large, varied projects and work both strategically and operationally. Your role will include, but is not limited to:  

  • Ownership of Northmill’s credit risk strategy
  • Being a member of Northmill’s credit committee and part of the management team
  • Together with our analytics team, validate and improve our scorecards, scoring models and processes
  • Together with our analytics team dig in our database and drive strategic initiatives to increase our knowledge of customer behavior, risk, pricing and opportunities
  • Collaborate with other departments with the objective to maximize volume growth within decided risk limits
  • Monitor, analyze and improve reporting of the credit portfolio and KRI’s/KPI’s
  • Regularly ensure that the credit process is well-documented and compatible with both internal policies and instructions such as legislation and industry practice

Who are you?

We believe that you are skilled at everything related to data and numbers. With great focus on credit risk, we also believe that you have a distinctly business-oriented thinking.

As a person, you are a real doer with great curiosity. You enjoy working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial organization such as Northmill, and you like to be given the opportunity to think new, and not get stuck in old patterns.

Furthermore, you probably possess:

  • At least 3 years of experience in credit-related roles in banking and finance.
  • Experience working with consumer loans or credit cards
  • Experience from working with risk models (PD, LGD and EAD)  
  • A BSc or MSc in economics, mathematics, statistics, or similar

We would love if you also:

  • Have experience of cloud-based data structures and tools in, for example, Amazon Web Services or Azure
  • Have experience of product companies
