The scope of your role
Your mission is to take part in formulating and implementing Northmill's growth agenda while maintaining good control and oversight across the credit life cycle. You will be a vital part in setting the framework as well as the specific rules for how to achieve our portfolio growth objectives while meeting our targets on risk appetite, risk-adjusted return, and overall credit quality. In a data-driven organization, you need to be able to transform data into executable strategies. This basis will be in the form of model development, in-depth analysis, and reporting but it is important you also have the ability to practice sound credit judgment and to be pedagogical in explaining the result to other parts of the business. As Credit Risk is present in most aspects of the customer cycle for lending products you will be involved in analyzing everything from sourcing of customers to pricing, credit processes, portfolio management, and debt collections.

As a Credit analyst, you need to have a good understanding of the Swedish consumer credit market in general as well as the specifics of Northmill’s product and business. You are expected to have outstanding technical skills in using commonly available tools to gather, aggregate, and transform data into information as a basis for decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics Mathematics, Computer science, Engineering, or Business field.
- A minimum of 3 years within Credit and Analytics within consumer credits, preferably niche banks or finance companies.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL, R/Python, SAS, and other common tools.
- Methodological some combination of Predictive modeling (churn, LTV), Large scale A/B testing.
