The scope of your role

As our Business Unit Manager you will have 5 main areas of responsibility:
Leadership, operational responsibility for managing a business unit in Poland (Tech Hub)
Organization changing - we never stop moving. We’re an agile organization and we adjust to the changing world. You will be able to help us by shaping common processes, suggesting and doing improvements in many areas of the Engineering department and the whole organization.
People management - you will be the person who ensures individuals know what is expected of them, where they fulfil the expectations and what are the things they could improve. You will ensure the individuals have a good environment around them and have everything they need in order to do their job.
People development - you will be the person who helps individuals in finding the right path to be better at what they do. You will do that by systematic contact, gathering information from individuals, coaching and supporting them in setting their own goals. Later you will support them in order to organize what they need to achieve those goals and be in line with the company’s needs.
Team coaching - You will cooperate with one or more teams and you will be coaching them so they can improve their agile processes and become stronger, better organized and more efficient.

At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar position
Experience to manage people/teams in IT projects
Ability to manage projects from start to finish
Having excellent communication skills
Focused on teamwork
Knowledge about Agile (from the manifesto and principles to methods and best practices)
Familiarity with Atlassian Product Family
Good English speaker (min. B2)
